Necklace is the accurate word for what is on this page. Take away the ranch subject and what remains is a metal ornament on an adjustable cord, closer to a pendant than to neckwear: clean geometry, animals, emblems and plain colored centers. No boots, no longhorns, no hats; those stay in cowboy and western bolo ties.

Worn low over a crew neck or an open collar it has the same three parts as any other necklace: clasp, cord, two tips, with the drop set wherever you want it. A dark cord against dark clothing leaves the clasp floating on its own, which is the strongest version of the effect.
Suit and collar
