A full snarling wolf — not just the head — cast on a slide measuring about 2 × 2.05 inches (5.1 × 5.2 cm), in silver-tone finish. The 42-inch (107 cm) leather cord comes in red or black. Of our three wolf designs, this one carries the largest slide.

Two inches of metal at your collar is a deliberate choice; this piece is built around presence. The wolf is shown mid-snarl, body coiled, and the open silhouette lets the cord color show through the casting. Red turns the whole piece graphic and modern; black keeps it closer to classic western wear.

What to know before you buy

Silver-tone means a plated finish over zinc alloy, not silver content — the name describes the color. There is no stone on this piece. A slide this size carries some weight at the collar; if you prefer a bolo you forget you're wearing, the smaller wolf head design will suit you better. The cord is dyed leather, so avoid soaking it.

How big is 2 inches at the collar, really?

About the footprint of a large belt buckle scaled down — it covers most of the gap of an open two-button collar. Hold a ruler at 5 cm against your shirt before ordering if you're unsure.

Red or black cord?

Red if you want the piece noticed across a room; black if you want it noticed across a table. The slide itself is identical on both.

Is this the same wolf as the wolf head bolo?

No. That design is a head in relief on a shorter cord; this one is a full-body wolf on a larger slide, about half an inch bigger in each direction.
