A three-dimensional cowboy hat — brim, crown, crease — cast as a slide in silver-tone or bronze-tone, on a braided PU cord with metal tips, 36 inches (91 cm) long. An adjustable slide clip holds it wherever you set it.

Most bolo motifs are flat reliefs; this one is modeled in the round, so the hat keeps its shape from any angle and throws a real shadow under direct light. It is also the most literal western piece we carry, and it owns that: nobody will ask what it is supposed to be.

How to place it

A playful motif needs a straight face around it: plain shirt, closed colors, no other western hardware. Worn that way it lands as wit rather than costume — line-dancing nights, honky-tonk shows, a themed party where you want the best accessory in the room without renting anything. At 36 inches this is the shortest cord in our catalog, so it sits naturally high and tight. What to know before you buy

The cord is PU — polyurethane, a synthetic leather — and we'd rather write that than let a leather-look photo do the hiding. PU tolerates rain better than leather and costs less; it can crease at sharp fold points over years. The hat is cast zinc alloy under a plated color. Nothing on this piece is what a jeweler would call precious, and it is priced accordingly.
